About Us

Donna Bristol MAAT

Director

I have worked in accountancy since the age of 19 and have worked in all areas of audit, accountancy services, taxation and payroll. After studying at college alongside work, I gained my MAAT status in 2008. I set up Coplow Business Support in 2019 to focus on offering bookkeeping services to our client’s and really get involved in the day to day running of their businesses, as that is the area I most enjoy. I live in Clitheroe with my husband and two young daughters. Outside of work I enjoy taking my daughters on adventure days out and I also support Clitheroe Cricket Club and have a keen interest in running. I also act as a co-opted governor on the finance committee at my daughter’s school.

Anna Ward

Bookkeeper

I have been working at Coplow Business Support for just over a year. Prior to this, from 2011, I was working as a bookkeeper and administrator in the motor vehicle trade in Clitheroe before moving to an accountancy practice, also in the town, in 2018.

In my spare time I like to practice yoga, walk my loopy cocker spaniel and go to watch Blackburn Rovers… but my time out of work is mostly spent taxiing my two children around!

Emma Davies

Office Manager

I started here at Coplow Business Support in November 2021 as the General Office Manager. Having previously worked in the veterinary field for 18 years I was looking for a new challenge. My previous career gave me lots of experience in a client-facing role and in the latter years I took on the responsibility of more administrative tasks. I live with my husband and our beautiful 2-year-old crossbreed dog ‘Tarka’. In my spare time I can usually be found at training classes with Tarka, walking her on the moors above Lancashire or socializing with friends.

Kelly Jackson

Bookkeeper

I joined Coplow Business Support in 2019 and I’m currently studying towards an AAT bookkeeping qualification. Prior to this I have had experience within purchase ledger roles, administration roles and managerial roles. My responsibilities involved maintaining health and safety measures on job sites, processing invoices, credit control, general office duties and managing a team. I have two beautiful and energetic children aged 5 & 9. Most weekends involve exploring the outdoors, movie mornings in front of the fire and I’ve become a whiz at super Mario racing! In my spare time I enjoy running and walking with friends, clothes shopping and pampering myself.

Amy Scott

Bookkeeping Apprentice

Amy recently joined Coplow Business Support as our Level 1 Bookkeeping Apprentice, and she’s already hit the ground running. In her first few weeks, she’s completed her Anti-Money Laundering training and certification with Firmcheck, begun her Xero and QuickBooks certifications, and started meeting our wonderful clients to learn more about their businesses.

Eager to learn and full of enthusiasm, Amy has quickly become a valued member of the team. She’s already showing a natural talent for organisation, accuracy, and problem-solving –  all the makings of an excellent bookkeeper.

We’re thrilled to have Amy on board and can’t wait to see her continue to grow and develop her skills as she progresses through her bookkeeping journey with Coplow.

Natalie King

Bookkeeping Apprentice

I am an apprentice bookkeeper currently working towards my Level 3 AAT qualification. I have two years experience managing the finances and accounts for a group of children’s day nurseries. Before that, I spent 6 years running one of the nurseries day-to-day, giving me a strong understanding of how a busy business works behind the scenes.

I live with my partner, stepson, daughter and miniature dachshund Roxy. Most weekends you’ll find me on the sidelines supporting my daughter and her Clitheroe wolves football team or enjoying family time watching movies or playing board games.
